Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)

We believe that there is one eternal, almighty, and perfect God, eternally existent in three persons:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (John 14:26, 1 John 5:7)

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His conception by the Holy Spirit, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His Miracles, in his vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth to rule in power and glory. (Matthew 1:16, Luke 1:26-35, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 21:25, Romans 5: 17, I Corinthians 15:3-4, Hebrews 1:3, Revelation 20:4-6)

We believe in the blessed hope of His personal, visible, and future return to this earth to receive to Himself His blood-bought church, so that the church may remain with Him forever. (Titus 2:13, Hebrews 13:12, Ephesians 1:7)

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. (I Peter 1:18-19, Acts 20:28)

We believe that regeneration of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. (Titus 3:5, John 3:3-5)

We believe that the inward evidence to the believer for salvation is the witness of the Spirit; the outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and holiness. (Romans 8:16, Ephesians 4:24)

We believe that water baptism by immersion is a holy act commanded by God’s Word. In this act of faith and obedience, the believer is identified with the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 22:12-16)

We believe that the Lord’s Supper is an ongoing holy act of the church fulfilling the call to remember the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 11:23-30, Luke 22:7-20)

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer, and it is the privilege of all believers. (Mark 16:17-18, I Peter 2:24)

We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to every believer who asks for it. Initial evidence of receiving this gift is the believer speaking forth with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and by subsequent manifestations of spiritual power in public testimony and service. (Acts 10:44-46, Acts 1:8)

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. (Galatians 5:16, Ephesians 5:8)

We believe that our Heavenly Father intends for His children to live in total prosperity. Spiritual: (John 3:3-7, II Corinthians 5:17-21, Romans10:9-10, 13) Mental: (Romans 12:2 II Timothy 1:7) Physical: (Isaiah 53: 1-5, Psalm 107:20, Matthew 8:17, I Peter 2:24) Financial: Deuteronomy (8:18, III John 2, Malachi 3:8-11, II Corinthians 9:6-10) Social: (Proverbs 3:4 Romans 12:17)

We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the former to everlasting life and the latter to everlasting damnation. (John 5:28-29, Revelation 20:10-15)
